Tom OlsenTom Olsen has practiced law since 1981. He was born in Orlando and mentored by his father, Robert W. Olsen. The senior Mr. Olsen retired in 1986. Tom Olsen’s legal practice is very much similar to that of his father in that it is a broad practice, covering a variety of areas of law. He once said, "I started my practice of law in the days where we would take anything and everything that walked through the door."
As a Central Florida lawyer, Tom has handled a wide range of legal cases including estate planning, real estate, divorce, bankruptcy, criminal defense, eminent domain and personal injury. It is because of this broad practice that Mr. Olsen is able to answer questions on so many areas of the law in his daily practice and on his "Olsen on Law" radio show.
On the personal note, Tom enjoys canoeing, hiking, camping, guitar and drumming. He is a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church and the Rotary Club of Orlando.
Rob SolomonAttorney Rob Solomon is a part of the Olsen Law Group and has practiced law since 1978. He focuses on criminal defense, litigation defense and landlord/tenant work. While practicing law in New Hampshire, Mr. Solomon hosted a radio show called "Out of Order". It focused on legal issues as they happened in the news. In 1996, he moved to Orlando, when his wife’s became a professor at Rollins College.
Mr. Solomon plays tennis and golf. He enjoys a weekly chess game and has a rule never to watch the lawyer shows on television. He is also a Volkswagen mechanic and known to drop a VW engine in under two hours. Rob has a strong belief that a Central Florida lawyer may need to be hard-nosed but that they still can do their jobs with a level of civility, candor and a good sense of humor.
Colonel AirthAttorney Colonel Airth is a 1968 graduate from the University of Florida’s School of Law and is a part of the Olsen Law Group. Mr. Airth started his career as an Assistant Public Defender for the 8th Judicial Circuit. In 1973, he began practicing civil litigation. His extensive background in trials and appellate courts made this move a logical one for him. Since this time, he has focused on providing individuals with information and resources they need to handle personal injury, insurance coverage problems, foreclosure defense, and mortgage modification.
Mr. Airth was born in Lake City, Florida and raised in Live Oak, Florida.
